David Lamb
STONE CARVER
As a traditionally trained architectural stone carver, I focus on the restoration and conservation ecclesiastical and civic buildings. I have a particular interest in Gothic architecture and have worked in several Gothic cathedral workshops in England. These include Carlisle Cathedral, Gloucester Cathedral and York Minster Cathedral. I have a particular fascination with traditional tools and use antique axes, hammer, chisels and mallets to match original texture and design. I also enjoy employing traditional methods in the creation of contemporary pieces.
