East Block – Parliament of Canada, Ottawa, Ontario
The East Block, also know as the Eastern Departmental Building, is one of the three buildings on Canada’s Parliament Hill. Constructed in 1866, it is built in the Victorian High Gothic style. Along with the Library of Parliament, the East Block has remained mostly intact since its original construction.
Smith & Barber was contracted to replace all the deteriorated cut and carved stone for the North-West Tower Restoration Project.
